Global Centroid-Moment-Tensors from the GCMT project at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory are available through the NSF NGF Data Repository shortly after their publication. Initial quick-CMT solutions are shown and are later updated to GCMT solutions when updates are available.
Events for which MT products are generated are displayed in reverse chronological order (newest first). You can sort the event table by clicking on the column headers.
Click on a row to display the MT product for that event. The
All Products column links to a page listing all
available products for the corresponding event.
Use the filter controls below to limit events by region, depth, date,
magnitude, and nodal-plane strike, dip, and rake range. For more information about the Moment Tensor Functions Data
Product, visit the
Moment Tensor product page .
Click any row to open the data product for that event. To view the event details instead, select the row's radio button — its ID appears in Selected event ID below — then choose View Event Information from the action menu. Use Deselect event to clear your selection.
